The COVID-19 pandemic is a severe threat, and no one can downplay the crisis that the world is currently experiencing. People are left with uncertainty and worry, hoping that the pandemic will soon end.

For several months, many cities worldwide are empty. Business conferences are canceled. Enterprises are forced to close. Grocery shelves are being emptied as people stock their homes with foods, water, essentials, and more to prepare for the worse that may never come.

Those are among the many problems that the COVID-19 has caused since it was declared as a pandemic. The disruption of the daily routines with imposed social distancing and quarantine protocols are sure to cause lasting economic consequences.

The global tourism industry is among the various sectors that the COVID-19 severely affected. Multiple countries worldwide have put travel restrictions in place, closing off both local and international borders.

Many flights to and from affected parts of the world are grounded, and travelers have no choice but to cancel and delay their trips.

Along with the travel, restrictions are additional safety measures to limit the spread of the virus. Today, almost all airlines require travelers to take a pcr test before flying.

For people who want to continue their travel plans despite the ongoing pandemic, they are required to take a fit to fly covid test

Should they test negative, they will receive a fit to fly certificate, allowing them to leave and cross a border.

With the closure of borders and the cancelation of flights, many people are caught unprepared with the abrupt changes resulting in them unable to leave the country they are in due to an expired visa or visa about to expire.

Fortunately, many governments have proposed the idea of extending visas for foreign nationals applying for an extension. Also, they can remain within the borders they are in if they are unable to travel.
